studio life

Okay, so you will all know me well enough by now to know the love I have for Shelley and Ricky from Ten21 Photography (dorky amounts), so when I decided to get my first ever headshots done for my new studio I chose their little faces and camera skills. Well, I was so over the moon with them I can't even cope. Not only are they amazing people but true professionals. Shelley made me feel so at ease and managed to capture my personality perfectly with her camera. The images of my studio totally exceeded my expectations and it was so lovely to have Shelley and Ricky's fresh eyes capture what is now my wee hair haven.

If any of you out there are looking to get new head shots and update your old fussy images, please give Ten21Photography a shout. You will NOT be disappointed, I promise!!

jump the broom

I married my best friend on Friday 25th November 2011 in the Ulster Museum in Belfast. My long time friend and photographer Emma Campbell captured our big day. She was an absolute star! Professional, funny, warm and all my guests loved her. I highly recommend Emma for your wedding day too. She captures moments beautifully.  Check out Jump the Broom and you'll even see me and my hubby featured.

my new adventures

Well, it's finally happened! I'm too emotional right now. God has truly blessed me and I'm ridiculously happy. To all my family, friends and amazing team at Blue. THANK YOU for all your support and prayers. On the 1st February I get the keys to my very own studio. EEK!! honestly, it has been the toughest 2016 battling my brain, heart and anxiety, but with the love of my friends and family I have finally grabbed my dream and will be opening my own wee haven. Thank you to every single person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in my chair. I love you all to the moon and back.

My new studio will be situated in Portview Mill, East Belfast at A1:14. I am too excited. It will probably be mid to end of March by the time I get to open but I will keep you all posted.

Thank you to everyones support. It had been totally humbling and overwhelming.

Utterly Engaged

My first international editorial published in a wedding magazine was Utterly Engaged. An American wedding blog. It was their first ever published magazine, Everything up to that point had been all online publishing. I was honoured to be part of this shoot. It was a collaboration with the crazy talented and equally lovely photographer Paula O'hara and wedding planner and stylist Alise Taggart. Floral Earth created the flowers and I got to work alongside my friend and extremely talented makeup artist Jennifer Ireland. Michael from Story of Eve shot the whole day on film and it was stunning!

Models Ruta Mineikyte and Piaras Smyth rocked as always :)

We had a blast creating this shoot. When you see the behind the scenes film at end of this post you'll see my wee pregnant belly, that is now my beautiful daughter Florence.
