my brother from another mother

Sometimes you meet cool people. Sometimes you meet your work idols. It probably sounds super geeky, but I don't care. hehe. I love my job and take it very seriously. Hair for me is my everything and I love people who love their job as much as I do. I'd been following Fraser's work for ages and always wanted to get to create hair for one of his brides. Fraser is one of those people. Like me, he has a family and loves them very much. We clicked from the first meeting. I've been lucky to work with Fraser on four weddings now. I'm going to share links to some of these on this wee blog post. I think you'll agree how fabulous his work is. Enjoy. xo

Utterly Engaged

My first international editorial published in a wedding magazine was Utterly Engaged. An American wedding blog. It was their first ever published magazine, Everything up to that point had been all online publishing. I was honoured to be part of this shoot. It was a collaboration with the crazy talented and equally lovely photographer Paula O'hara and wedding planner and stylist Alise Taggart. Floral Earth created the flowers and I got to work alongside my friend and extremely talented makeup artist Jennifer Ireland. Michael from Story of Eve shot the whole day on film and it was stunning!

Models Ruta Mineikyte and Piaras Smyth rocked as always :)

We had a blast creating this shoot. When you see the behind the scenes film at end of this post you'll see my wee pregnant belly, that is now my beautiful daughter Florence.

Victoria & Sean Tie the Knot

My brides are always so lovely and it was great to get to know and work with Victoria on her wedding hair. She had such a cool style and got married at the Folk and Transport museum with their reception at Home in Belfast. Inspire Weddings featured their wedding on their online wedding blog. Follow the link to take you there. I think you'll agree Victoria and Sean totally rocked their wedding day in style.

Heidi & Frazer Get Wed

In my line of work I get to meet the nicest people and Heidi was one of those people.

If you click on this link it will take you to the fabulous site LoveMyDress. I have always loved this website and was honoured that my beautiful bride Heidi shared that I created her bridal hair on it. I think you will agree that Heidi and Frazer had such a wonderful sense of style and photograper Kat Mervyn captured their day perfectly.

Orange Tree House Shoot

Every now and again I get the pleasure to work with some crazy talented people. This shoot was one of those occasions. My wee daughter Florence even got to have her modelling debut at the tender age of 2. I could not of been prouder. She is a wee star in the making, hehe.

Getting married and wondering where to hold it? Check out Orange Tree House in Greyabbey. It is run by a beautiful lady called Jan who will make your wedding day so special.

The credits below show who was involved with the shoot. Check them out and they could be exactly what you're looking for for your own wedding.
